Civilution is the largest gathering of engineering professionals, industry leaders and public servants in the country and will once again convene between 9 -11 May 2016 at Gallagher Estate, Midrand.
The Young Members Panel (YMP) convened on 12 February 2016, at SAICE National Office, Midrand. The YMP is a national forum which was established a number of years ago with the view of creating a forum for SAICE members under the age of 36 to address the needs and interests of the younger SAICE membership group.
The first SAICE International Panel (SIP) meeting kicked off on 16 February 2016 at SAICE House in Midrand. Panel members that were present included SAICE President Chris Herold, Manglin Pillay (SAICE CEO), Peter Kleynhans (SAICE President 2012), Tony Smith (Chairman of the Joint Structural Division), Munya Mutyora (Young Members Panel representative), Alain Jacquet (Chairman of ICE-SA) and Steven Kaplan (SAICE COO).
