SAICE 2016 president elect Dr Chris Herold stepped in for President Malcolm Pautz last week during the Pietermaritzburg (PMB) branch visit. Pautz had been attending the ACSE 2015 Convention in New York.
The University of Pretoria’s (UP) Department of Civil Engineering, hosted its Annual Projects Evening on 29 October 2015. At the event an audience of just over 200 students, lecturers, special guests and parents gathered at the Rautenbach Hall, Hatfield Campus, for an evening of showcasing and celebrating the outstanding research produced by the class of 2015.

SAICE 2015 President Malcolm Pautz touched down in New York City this week for the 2015 American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Convention. The convention set the tone for a proud moment in the organisation’s history – the signing of the Agreement of Cooperation between ASCE and SAICE.
