ECS Associates (Pty) Ltd together with the South African Institution of Civil Engineering, (SAICE), successfully delivered the NEC Project Manager Accreditation programme in January and February, the first of its kind in Africa. ECS won the right to present the prestigious Project Manager Accreditation modules from the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) London, following a rigorous tendering process outlining various delivery model options.
Andrew Baird, Chairman and founder of ESC Associates, commented how privileged he was to be able to round off his career by being the tutor for the first project management training seminar, which is widely accepted as the gold standard in NEC project management. Andrew, being one of the original designers and drafters of the NEC suite of documents has served as an NEC Panel member for the entire life of the Panel as well as implementing NEC in many organisations, regards securing ICE Accreditation as a vital milestone in the value of the NEC procurement process to both clients and practitioners.
Delegates especially appreciated the emphasis given to ECC3 planning requirements, which were highlighted through various scenario planning options via Primavera forensic analysis. ECS provides all aspects of programming support to clients from a team of experienced forensic planners.
Feedback from the event was exceptional and the next Project Manager Accreditation course is planned for later this year.
